No-Bake Recipe for Photo Fun…
Frames can be expensive and the ones that aren’t, can be pretty un-awe-inspiring. This will be the first of many do it yourself tutorials I post about making something magnificent out of ordinary. This sunDIY with Curlybell I bake up a special treat that combines your favourite photos and a vintage muffin/cupcake pan.
Almost everyone who has visited my house, has commented on the 12 photo frame in my dining room. What’s particularly unique about it is that it’s not a frame at all. In fact it’s an ECKO muffin pan from the 1930’s. When I found this pan at a flea market many years ago, I decided it was far too beautiful to be hidden inside a cabinet waiting to be put in the oven. In my case, I used my muffin pan to document the first 12-months of my son’s life:)
Both advanced and beginner DIYers will love this project.
- 6 to 12 of your favorite memories, in photographic format
- Vintage Muffin Pan
- Fiskars 174140-1001 Round ‘n Round Sqeeze Punch, Punches 2-Inch Circle, Extra Large
- Thermoweb Zots Clear Memory Adhesive Dots, 3-D, 1/2-Inch, 200-Pack
This DIY is as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5:
//1// Make sure depressions within muffin pan are clean and clear of debris.
//3// Build up back of photo circle with adhesive zots. The traditional muffin pan will only take 1-2. The 6 muffin pan will take several zots, simply adhered to each other in a pile.
//4// Adhere photo circles to the depressions in the muffin pan.
From here you can repeat and make more or simply change out photo circles by season, holiday or year!
