2024 was a very behind the scenes year that I fully admit, I didn’t document very well. It’s probably because it came with a set of challenges that made year two of my creative career journey feel more like mountain climbing. I was feeling like I didn’t have enough to show for all my efforts, but low and behold, I… - Produced my first edition of NJ themed stickers. - Produced my very first stationary sets & Christmas cards. - Had linen tea towels made of two of my original bird paintings. - Designed and produced my first packaging for one of my very own products. - Did a lot of R&D. - Painted, painted and then painted some more. I just want to thank everyone who supported my ventures in 2024, from Etsy, to Faire, to in-person events such as Arts in Bloom and my lovely friends in Pitman, NJ who advised in the creation of quite possibly my most well loved Christmas ornament yet! You’ve all also helped me chart a course for 2025. Lots of fun is on its way. After many, many, many months of equipment failures in the shop (and the subsequent replacement and retooling of my machines), I’m back online. With all the new visitors to my shop this holiday, I realized it’s probably a good idea to reintroduce myself to those of you who haven’t met me yet;) I’m Jen Bell (@thejenbell) and this is my mad scientist laboratory.
